bobJuan & Catalina's Big 2006 Adventure

This year, we took the ENTIRE month of July to get OUT of the Phoenix heat.  First we spent two weeks in Alpine, Arizona again, staying at the ultimately recommended Coronado Trail Cabins, (you can't beat the way Paul and Sherri treat you in Alpine!) then up to Colorado for the Droll Family Reunion, and some connection with the Royals and dear friends.  [Note to Phoenicians, take July and get the heck outta here!]

Since we found this place, we can't resist coming back for a nice walk and usually a little lunch afterwards.  This year we were joined by some Arizona Drolls and our friend Ryan from Phoenix.

The Droll Reunion

Kerry and Mary took us up in the San Juan Forest for a schweet walk through an aspen forest.  It was after this hike that we realized that there are no favorite hikes, they're all the absolute best.
